Malabuyoc is located in the southern part of Cebu Province in the Philippines. It is considered to be a 5th class municipality in Cebu Province. You can see old but historical buildings and monuments and other sights in Malabuyoc like the Malabuyoc Museum, Malabuyoc Church, Freedom park and the Rizal Monument and some other more.
Created as a parish on 16 June 1834, Malabuyoc with patron San Nicolas Tolentino, after whom the Recollect province was named. A single bell tower was attached to the facade.
Malabuyoc Museum is a heritage structure which is a coastal watchtower also known as "bantayan sa hari". It is one of the many network of defense works girding Cebu Island
the Freedom park located along the coastline of Malabuyoc. Every Sunday there is a so-called "palengke" or "tiyangge" which known in English as market day. You can find near the Freedom park these tiyangges where people usually go for shopping and selling their goods.
