Fort San Pedro, called in Spanish as Fuerza de San Pedro is a military defence structure located in Plaza Independencia near the Pier Area of Cebu City in the Philippines. It was built by the Spaniards and indigenous Cebuano labourers under the command of Spanish conquistador, Miguel López de Legazpi and the Spanish Government in Cebu.
The exact construction of this building was unknown. This is now considered as a historical park and one of the sights of Cebu City. There is also a museum in this Fort. It is now under the administration of the City of Cebu.
The fort is triangular in shape, with two sides facing the sea and the third side fronting the land. The two sides facing the sea were defended with artillery and the front with a strong palisade made of wood.
