Hot Summer in Venice, Italy

I truly got more tanned skin during that trip in Venice, Italy.  I am  thinking now how many times did I visited this city? Wait a minute! I exactly remember now. This image below was taken during my fourth visit last summer 2011.

For some reasons, I love to keep on coming back in Venice. Its lovely setting, architecture, its many artworks and some things that bewitched me in coming back there again and again.

St. Mark's Basilica on the middle and the Doge's Palace on the right side.

During my last visit, I was actually invited by my friends and her family to go with them. It was indeed a pleasure for me. We had so much fun that time and those are indeed happy memories.

There are so many thing to do and experience in this city. One of the best ways to explore it is thru its water taxi or by foot. Being known as the world's only pedestrian city, walking can be very tiresome and exhausting especially during hot summer. You better try to do some pacing.

Some of the famous sights to see are the St.  Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco), Rialto Bridge, Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale), Clock tower (Torre dell'Orologio), Bell tower of St. Mark (Campanile di San Marco), Jewish Ghetto of Venice and many more. There are also a dozen of museum to explore there.

I love Venice and if given the chance to visit it again, I will surely do!

Lovely pic sis! We were in Milan last 2009 and my hubby's cousin said it was quite near Venice but due to lack of time, we weren't able to visit that place. I sure hope we can soon. Summer months in Italy can be just like Dubai's - hot and humid. We were in Rome in August 2009 and I can feel the hot sun piercing through my skin! I wish we had visited a little later when the weather was cooler. I wasn't able to enjoy much of the walks along the famous sites in Rome.
